Bones, Bones, Bones...

We have started "Anatomy Academy" in the 5th grade at PDS. For the next few weeks, we will begin to study some of the different body systems! It should be interesting, and I can't wait for them to learn about their body! First off, we are beginning with the Skeletal System and bones. They will begin by learning the scientific names for some of the different bones.

Also, be looking for a project due Feb. 10. They chose their own project in class on Jan. 28 and should be bringing home information on what they picked! Please be creative on these projects...I can't wait to see what these sharp minds come up with!

Poetry Party

Students are responsible for a poem on Friday! We are going to read the poems outloud and celebrate with some chips and rotel! It should be a fun reading class on Friday!
