The fifth grade students had a medical student come and talk to them about the effects of smoking. He explained all of the negative effects it can have on a person's body. The students performed some fun activities that went along with the lesson.

Totem Poles
In Social Studies, the fifth graders have been studying about different Native American tribes over the last few weeks. Each student created a mask for the classroom totem pole.
